What to pack in your Disney Parks bag!

Packing for a Disney vacation can be stressful, especially for first timers! Today we are going to tell you about our Disney park bag must-haves!

All Walt Disney World attractions (with the exception of Tron and Kali River Rapids) allow you to bring your bags on rides, making it super easy to carry things you need with you throughout the day! Now sometimes if I am doing a few hours at a park, I can get away with my trusted Lululemon belt bag. If you prefer to be prepared for anything, a mini bookbag is perfect for the essentials!

Starting off with the number one must pack item is a portable cell phone charger! It is no secret that being at WDW, you have to use your cell phone a lot, especially for dining, Lightning Lanes, and more. Ensuring that your phone does not die is super important! I have a big power bank I bring, but you can also buy, and exchange portable chargers around Disney property. If you search on the app “portable Phone Charging service kiosks, you can find all of the locations! WDW uses the “fuelrod” brand. My second must-have item is a reusable water bottle. The rumors are true, any quick service location that sells fountain drinks will give out cups of water for free! You can ask for them anywhere throughout the parks and resorts and fill up your own water bottle. Bonus points for keeping these drinks cold in the Florida heat! Occasionally, I will pack different water flavors if I want to drink something else, but staying hydrated in Florida is a must all year round.

Speaking of staying hydrated, the Florida heat does not just happen randomly, the sun beats down pretty much all day long! A good pair of sunglasses and a portable fan is certainly a necessity. Now I would not go packing your most beloved sunnies in case you lose them, but a good pair that keeps you from straining your eyes all day, and a fan to cool you down is something you should have!

If your trip falls between July and November, a poncho may be in your favor! These months are Florida’s hurricane season. Now don’t fear, should you get stuck at the Most Magical Place on Earth for a hurricane, Disney really knows how to keep that magic alive. Guests who have found themselves at Disney before during a hurricane have spoken about the incredible resort entertainment offerings Disney had put together. They really think of everything! Most rain storms only last a few hours and clear right back up. Having a poncho can help you get through these rough patches with ease!

A few other items I always have on hand, that are a little more self-explanatory include hand sanitizer / or lysol wipes, lip balm, deodorant, and body spray! Keeping good hygiene practices will help you feel your best!

Now don’t fear if you pack for your trip and forget any of these items. There are multiple stores like Target and Walmart nearby, making it easy to go and grab these items or even door-dashing if needed (Trust me, I have been there). But, there are so many things you can find on property, too. All resorts have select offerings of medications and other miscellaneous items you may need- think cough drops, sunscreen, contact solution, and more! Additionally, the parks have first aid and baby care centers in all of them, feel free to utilize these services, they are there for guests like you!
